There are 11 types of weapons in the game. They are as follows:

Daggers
One-Handed Swords
Two-Handed Swords
One-Handed Axes
Two-Handed Axes
Hammers
Spears
Staves
Gloves
Flails
Bows

There are approx. 53 different types of each weapon. The strongest are made with the raw material Adamantite.

Your choice of weapon is based on personal preference and the type of battle you are fighting. If you are fighting a slow moving, but powerful boss you may want to use a bow and attack from afar. However, close combat weapons(knives, swords, gloves, etc...) inflict more damage.

At the start of the game you will be asked to select one weapon to begin with. Other weapons can later be bought, found or forged.

Some armor, such as boots and sandals, go on the same part of the body and may not be equipped at the same time.

The most powerful of a certain type of armor depends on what area you want your character to be strong in. Some pieces of armor will significantly raise your magic, but lower your attack. Others will up your defense, but lower your speed. Mix and match and find a combo that you like.

You start the game with very basic armor. You may later buy and/or forge better armor.

There are four types of instruments. They are as follows:

Harps
Drums
Marimbas
Flutes

You must combine raw materials with coins in order to make these instruments. There are over 200 different instruments in the game.

After completing the "Reach for the Stars" event go to your workshop and agree to help the student from Geo work with the elemental coins. The student will show you how to make instruments and give you some coins to get you started.

To make an instrument first chose the type(i.e. harp) then chose a primary material. Finally, use an elemental coin to complete the instrument. Elemental coins are dropped by Elementals when they like your music and you catch them. The type of coin used determines the type of magic within the instrument. For example, if you use an Undine coin your instrument will have water spells.
