Gato Grottoes
Event Name: Flame of Hope
Event Locations: Gato
Required Partner: None
Boss: None
How To Trigger: Talk to the Nun and the Sproutling at
the entrance of the Grottoes to trigger this event.
Here's What To Do: Follow the Sproutling. When you reach
the fork in the road speak with Rubens. Take the right hand path
to the terrace and watch the Sproutling and the Nun. Follow the
Sproutling into the Temple of Healing. Witness a conversation
between the Nun and the Sproutling and return to the Terrace
where the Nun is "healing" the Sproutling. Follow the
Sproutling when it runs back to the Temple. Talk to the collapsed
Nun on the floor and Inspector Boyd will enter. After he leaves
return to the terrace where you'll see the Nun steal Rueben's
Jumi core. Rueben dies and you are transported back to the
Temple. Leave the Temple and exit the city. Head left on the map
into the caves. Follow the trail of Sproutling leaves until you
are out of the caves. Now head down by the waterfall and on to
the cliff where the Cancun Bird lives. Sandra escapes, but the
Sproutling is healed. Inspector Boyd gives you some artifacts to
thank you for your help and the event is complete.
Event Name: Heaven's Gate
Event Locations: Gato, Lucemia
Required Partner: None
Boss: Irwin
How To Trigger: After the "Star-Crossed Lovers"
event speak to Matilda and Daena in the
Dreamweaving Chamber. Matilda will give you the Brooch of Love
Artifact.
Here's What To Do: Place the Brooch of Love on
the map to create Lucemia, a flying.....um...thing. Enter Lucemia
and walk along it's back, looking for openings. Continue through
Lucemia this way. Whatever you do don't say "I can't take it
anymore!" when asked if you want to leave because you'll be
returned to Gato and you'll have to do everything all over again.
Eventually you see Escad die at Irwin's hands. Rush forward and
battle Irwin and, after beating him, the Cancun Bird will return
you to Gato. You will then witness a conversation between Irwin
and Matilda in the Underworld which completes this event.
Event Name: In Search of Fairies
Event Locations: Gato, Lake Kilma
Required Partner: None(but I suggest Bud because he can
meet Tote, one of the wisdoms)
Boss: Boreal Hound
How To Trigger: After completing the "Two
Torches" event agree to help Matilda find Daena to trigger
this event. If you refuse, you will miss your
chance to participate in this event.
Here's What To Do: Enter Lake Kilma and go find Tote,
the Turtle, on the cliff where you jumped down to battle the
Gorgon's Eye. When you leave him you'll see Daena. Follow her.
Witness a conversation between Daena and Irwin and follow on to
the next screen where you witness her being taken away by a
circle of Fairies. The Boreal Hound appears. After defeating the
hound you are transported back to the Temple of Healing. This
completes the event.
Event Name: Niccolo's Business Unusual: Part
2
Event Locations: Gato
Required Partner: Niccolo
Boss: None
How To Trigger: Speak to Niccolo in the item shop at
Gato after completing the vent "Flame of Hope."
Here's What To Do: Avoid the dungeon(go straight to the
waterfall) and wait around while Niccolo picks greenballs(you
must be patient!) Eventually, a fairie will appear. Speak to it.
After talking to the fairie Niccolo will finish and will gift you
with 500 Lucre, a Greenball Bun, and the Broken Doll Artifact.
The event is complete. Easy, huh?
Event Name: Star-Crossed Lovers
Event Locations: Gato, Mindas Ruins
Required Partner: None(you're pretty much alone for this
event)
Boss: Escad or Daena
How To Trigger: After completing "Pokiehl: Dream
Teller" return to Gato and enter the Dreamweaving chamber.
Here's What To Do: Daena and Escad will argue and
Matilda will transport herself, Daena, and you to Mindas Ruins(if
you had a partner with you you will lose him/her) Fairies
transport you inside the Megalithic Structure. Battle your way
out and exit left and north until you find some Flowerkeys. Move
the two moveable keys to the right. Now return to the gates and
head left. You'll see Niccolo wandering around. Ask him(and pay
him ::sigh::) to take you to the Tower of Winds. Atop the Tower
Daena and Escad are prepared to fight. Chose sides(or simply
watch) After defeating your opponent Matilda returns to Gato and
the event is complete.
Event Name: Two Torches
Event Locations: Gato
Required Partner: None(I reccomend taking Daena because
you'll avoid all monsters and won't have to wander around the
dungeons)
Boss: Spriggan
How To Trigger: After completing the event
"Murmuring Forest" speak with Daena inside the Temple
of Healing.
Here's What To Do: Enter the Dreamweaving room and
listen to the conversation between Escad and Matilda. Speak to
Daena and she'll tell you more about Irwin and. Leave the
Dreamweaving Room and reenter to watch as Matilda is kidnapped.
Speak with Daena and she will join you. Go to the dungeons. After
speaking with Escad Daena will offer to transport you directly to
the sealed Meditation Room. Rescue Matilda and fight Spriggan.
After defeating him you will return to the Dreamweaving Room
automatically. Witness a short conversation and accept an item
from Matilda. The event is now complete.
